About Us

Equal Pathways was founded to ensure that every young person - regardless of their background - can access meaningful work experience that inspires confidence, ambition, and opportunity.

Our story begins with a personal experience. As a Year 10 student, our founder was placed in a work experience setting where she felt overlooked, underused, and unsupported. Instead of learning, growing, or feeling encouraged, she felt invisible and left that experience discouraged.

Years later, she realised that too many young people, especially those from working-class and underrepresented communities, still face that same barrier, placements that tick a box but don’t open a door. Equal Pathways was created to change that. We partner with leading law firms and corporate organisations to provide students with high-quality legal work placements that are structured, meaningful, and genuinely empowering. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, exposure to real work environments, and skill-building opportunities, we aim to help young people see their own potential and believe in the futures they can build.

Our hope is simple but powerful: to give every student the kind of work experience that lifts them up, supports their dreams, and sets them on a pathway toward long-term success.
